A bit more about Reg..

The last 20 years has seen the biggest jump in my collection.  Although I enjoy it immensely, it has come at a cost of friends and family.  Just ask my ex-wife!  But, where collecting alienates the collector in some ways, it also brings new found friends and connections with people I never thought possible.

My 16 year old son is into collecting too.  It’s infectious.  We’ve played around with fixing bikes together. H e enjoys the music from the eras I’m into  to name a few, ‘The Who’ and ‘The Rolling Stones.’   He’s even chipping in with this project by using his interest in photography to capture the collection and present it on the website.

Eventually, I’d like somebody, maybe my lads, to carry on this website and add an 80’s section, then a 90’s section and so on, in order to keep it going.  The 1980’s isn’t really my era at all but it’s something that they can relate to.  I wouldn’t know where to start, but I imagine they could talk about it until the cows come home, about cartoons, computer games and all. that.”
